Welcome to International Research Center for Nuclear Materials Science

　The International Research Center for Nuclear Materials Science is located in Oarai Research Center, Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute as an adjunct to the Institute for Materials Research (IMR), Tohoku University. Many researchers from public/private universities, independent administrative agencies, and special pubic corporations etc. join the center to do researches using Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute(JAERI)'s Japan Materials Testing Reactor (JMTR) or Japan Nuclear Cycle Development Institute(JNC)'s experimental fast reactor, JOYO.
