Procedures for implementation of collaborative usage research

Flow Steps for implementation
Document submission The collaborative users submit radiation handling documents to the Collaborative Usage Dept. Operational Office. (See p.5 of Collaborative Usage Research Guide.)
Note: Submit at least 2 weeks before start of collaborative usage (strict time limit).
The following is performed for the 2nd and later implementations.
Advance coordination Collaborative users confer in advance with the HL, AcL, and Research Building control rooms on the collaborative usage (equipment, chemicals, etc. to be used).
Application for collaborative usage research Collaborative users submit Experimental protocol, etc. to the Collaborative Usage Dept. Operational Office.
Note: Submit at least 2 weeks before start of collaborative usage (strict time limit)
Approval examination Receive approval at regular meeting (usually held on Wednesdays) 2 weeks before collaborative usage start.
Other document submission Write down and bring along travel plan.
To stay at the lodging facility, submit Request for use of lodging facility.Promptly contact the Collaborative Usage Dept. Operational Office of any change in the implementation program.

Note: Submit the experiment protocol early if special chemicals, disposables, or other such materials or equipment or tools that may require some time for the Center to provide will be needed.
